Boris FX Silhouette is a synthesizer application acceleration GPU best in class, provides the tools of the roto and paint do not ruin the most powerful in the industry to highlight groups of influence movies and images. Since 2005, Silhouette has been burned in Hollywood’s greatest films, including Avatar, Black Panther, Avengers: The End Game, and many other films.
Artists tools for Roto, paint and tracking. Silhouette 2020 behind Roto and made cleanup tasks with tools to perform photo special effects of the most confusing thanks to a combination of button-based with lock, integrated, tracking warping, color management and rest and support OFX plug-in Mocha Pro and Sapphire . Includes a button 143 visual effects with support for stereoscopic full-length.
The power of SilhouetteFX lies in the Trees window, where your effects are built. Trees is a series of clips and nodes, such as color correction, image processing, and compound nodes, connected together to create the desired effect.
Trees grows like branches on a tree by adding clips and nodes in any order. The ability to view any node while editing another allows you to create very complex composites, combinations that can be adjusted and displayed in a single pass.
SilhouetteFX is a node-based system, and different nodes are used for different functions. The nodes are arranged in a tab at the bottom of the screen, and the nodes are grouped into different categories.
The Node Collection layout provides everything you need to combine multiple images. You can use compositing techniques, color correction, blurring, graining, matte manipulation, lens distortion, lighting effects, and edge blending. Eliminate the most common effect problems or use special tools to combine images, such as fire, smoke, and explosions.
SilhouetteFX Silhouette lets you quickly create complex animated substrates using Bezier, X-Spline or B-Spline shapes. Intelligent design and easy-to-use tools, such as smooth point-to-point contouring and realistic motion blur, help you create complex animation shapes. Integrated motion tracking makes the usually tedious task of rotoscoping a breeze.
IK (Inverse Kinematics)
Silhouette’s feature set has been enhanced with an innovative approach to inverse kinematics.3D modeling systems have long taken advantage of IK (Inverse Kinematics) for animating articulated objects such as people, animals, and creatures in general. The layer system, already familiar to Silhouette users, is used to dynamically create bone structures for articulated shape transformation.
When IK is enabled, dragging a shape, such as a fingertip, can transform an entire hand. Since most rotational work is done on articulated objects, Silhouette’s IK function can save a lot of time.
Using the “motion blur” function can generate realistic roto-shapes and/or shading with variable edges for each point.
Paint is a non-destructive 2D painting system with a wide dynamic range, designed from the ground up to meet the needs of feature film and television. Whether it’s image restoration, dust removal, wire and rig removal, or simple paint, Silhouette offers simple and sensible tools to get the job done.
Auto Paint is a unique automated painting feature that registers all paint activity with tight integration of point and flat trackers. Strokes can be matched with movement or stabilized, assigning Silhouette a bitmap speed with vector coloring repeatability.
The beauty of the system is the automatic recording of strokes and brush settings. Individual strokes can be selected and repeated in many frames, as well as deleted. If the source material changes, the entire painting history can be used to automatically restore the painted picture.
Morph (Morphing or Transformation).
Silhouette includes a full-featured shape-based image deformation and transformation system, as well as a deformation device that provides the highest level of control and quality. Image deformation and morphing can take place either on frames or on consecutive images.
Deformation can be used to enhance or exaggerate facial features, resize image elements, create talking animals, or any other type of image deformation. Morphing has traditionally been used to transform one object or person into another, and more recently to seamlessly transform a live action element into a computer graphics object and vice versa.
Pin Warp allows you to deform certain areas of the image with so-called pins, leaving other areas untouched. The warp adjustments can range from subtle gaps and creases to something more obvious, like changing the position of an arm or leg.
The Depth node contains a special set of tools for creating depth channels.
Tools of Depth.
So, there are a number of tools for creating depth maps for two-dimensional images, including: Constant, Horizon, Ramp, Hall, Tunnel, Edges, and Alpha.
Horizon: The horizon depth object creates a horizon line;
Ramp: The ramp depth object creates a horizontal or vertical ramp merging from the center;
Hall: The hallway depth object creates a perspective gradient, as if you were looking down a hallway;
Tunnel: The tunnel depth object creates a circular gradient, as if you were looking down a tunnel.
The Depth Preview window displays a three-dimensional view of the depth map. This is very useful for visualizing the depth and placement of objects in three-dimensional space (3D).
Using patented mask-based extraction techniques, zMatte and Power Matte nodes can quickly and easily extract almost any object in an image, even if you’re dealing with fine hair details, smoke or reflections. They are easy to use but provide the tools you need when faced with good, bad or ugly frames.
Power Matte is an easy-to-use interactive image masking tool that iteratively estimates the transparency value for each pixel in an image based on a small sample of foreground (what you want to cut out) and background (what you want to get rid of) pixels marked by defining simple shapes in the image.
The results show that compared to previous approaches, the method is more efficient and requires minimal effort to extract high-quality foreground substrates with significant translucent areas. In addition, foreground edge colors can be evaluated in translucent areas to create a seamless composite.
Tracking or tracking is a method that involves analyzing image movement over time. In Silhouette, you can track images using automatic image tracking systems called Planar Tracking and Point Tracking, which use one, two or four tracking points. Silhouette includes two planar trackers: the Planar Tracker from SilhouetteFX and the Mocha Planar Tracker from Imagineer.
The Planar Tracker option in Silhouette lets you track multiple points (corners, edges and ribs) in an image, automatically handling partial occlusions of the tracked object, providing superior results even with objects without texture. Imagineer’s Mocha Planar Tracker technology produces 2D transform data by tracking planes rather than points.
The Point Tracker feature uses individual trackers that are placed on discernible images.
Silhouette can perform editing tasks such as cut, merge, move, copy, replace, trim, re-set and repeat clips in the Sequence Editor.
